Evidence-minded peptide care

Quality assurance

Tested. Verified. Transparent.

We believe you should never have to take a supplier's word for it. Every compound we carry is independently tested by accredited third-party laboratories, and we publish the results — no redactions, no summaries.

What is a Certificate of Analysis?

A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a document issued by an independent analytical laboratory confirming the identity, purity, and potency of a compound. It is the gold standard for verifying that what is in the vial matches what is on the label.

At Amalfi Peptides, every batch receives a COA before it is made available for purchase. We do not ship product that has not passed independent verification.

Testing methods

Every batch. Every test.

HPLC

HPLC Purity Analysis

High-Performance Liquid Chromatography separates and quantifies each component in a sample. We require ≥98% purity on all peptide compounds. HPLC is the industry benchmark for peptide identity and purity verification.

≥98% purity required
MS

Mass Spectrometry

Mass spectrometry confirms the molecular weight of the compound, verifying that the correct peptide sequence was synthesized. A mass spec result that matches the theoretical molecular weight is definitive proof of identity.

Molecular weight match required
LAL

Endotoxin Testing

The Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) test detects bacterial endotoxins — lipopolysaccharides shed by gram-negative bacteria that can cause severe inflammatory responses. All Amalfi compounds must pass endotoxin limits before release.

<1 EU/mg endotoxin limit
USP

Sterility & Bioburden

Sterility testing confirms the absence of viable microorganisms. Bioburden testing quantifies the total microbial load. Both are conducted in accordance with USP <71> standards.

Process

Our testing process

01

Synthesis & receipt

Compounds are synthesized by GMP-compliant manufacturers with documented synthesis records. Upon receipt, each batch is quarantined pending testing.

02

Independent laboratory testing

Samples are sent to accredited third-party laboratories with no affiliation to our suppliers. We use multiple labs to cross-validate results on high-volume compounds.

03

COA review & approval

Our quality team reviews every COA against our internal specifications. Any batch that fails to meet purity, identity, or endotoxin thresholds is rejected and destroyed.

04

Publication & availability

Approved COAs are published and linked to the corresponding product. Only then is the batch made available for purchase. You can request the COA for any product at any time.

FAQ

Common questions about our testing

Can I request a COA for a specific product?

Yes. Every product page includes a link to the current batch COA. You can also contact us directly to request COAs for previous batches or to verify a specific lot number.

Which laboratories do you use?

We work with multiple ISO/IEC 17025-accredited analytical laboratories in the United States. We do not disclose specific lab names to protect our supply chain, but all labs are independently accredited and unaffiliated with our suppliers.

What does ≥98% purity actually mean?

HPLC purity of ≥98% means that at least 98% of the detected material in the sample is the target compound. The remaining ≤2% may include synthesis by-products, residual solvents, or counter-ions — all of which are also quantified and reported.

How often are batches retested?

Every new batch receives a full panel of tests. We do not rely on manufacturer-provided COAs. Additionally, we conduct periodic stability testing on stored inventory to verify that compounds maintain potency over time.

What happens if a batch fails testing?

Failed batches are quarantined immediately and never made available for sale. We notify our supplier, document the failure, and source a replacement batch from an alternative manufacturer if necessary.
