Evidence-minded peptide care

Supply chain integrity

Where our compounds come from.

The quality of a peptide is determined long before it reaches a laboratory. We apply the same rigor to selecting manufacturers as we do to testing finished product — because sourcing is the first line of quality control.

Our standards

Six sourcing principles

01

GMP-compliant manufacturing only

We source exclusively from manufacturers operating under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines. GMP compliance means documented processes, validated equipment, trained personnel, and traceable batch records — the foundation of consistent, reproducible synthesis.

02

Supplier qualification & auditing

Every supplier undergoes a qualification process before we place an order. We review synthesis capabilities, quality management systems, regulatory history, and reference data. Ongoing suppliers are subject to periodic re-qualification.

03

Independent verification, not manufacturer COAs

We do not accept manufacturer-provided Certificates of Analysis as the basis for release decisions. All finished product is independently tested by accredited third-party laboratories. Manufacturer data is used for incoming inspection only.

04

Full batch traceability

Every compound in our catalog is traceable to a specific synthesis batch, manufacturer, and testing record. Lot numbers are maintained throughout storage and fulfillment, enabling complete traceability from synthesis to shipment.

05

Multi-source redundancy

For high-demand compounds, we qualify multiple manufacturers. This protects against supply disruptions and allows us to cross-validate quality across sources. We never rely on a single supplier for critical inventory.

06

Cold-chain storage & handling

Peptides are sensitive to temperature, humidity, and light. We store all compounds in controlled environments with continuous temperature monitoring. Cold-chain integrity is maintained from receipt through fulfillment.

What GMP compliance means in practice

Good Manufacturing Practice is a system of quality assurance that ensures products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. For peptide synthesis, GMP compliance covers raw material sourcing, synthesis process validation, equipment calibration, environmental monitoring, personnel training, and documentation.

GMP-compliant facilities maintain master batch records for every synthesis run, enabling full reconstruction of the manufacturing history for any given lot. This documentation is what allows us — and you — to verify that a compound was made correctly, not just that it tested correctly.

Not all peptide suppliers operate under GMP. Many research-grade suppliers use non-GMP synthesis processes that may produce acceptable purity results while lacking the process controls that ensure batch-to-batch consistency. We consider GMP compliance a baseline requirement, not a premium feature.

Controlled storage

Continuous temperature monitoring. All peptides stored at -20°C or per compound specification.

Cold-chain fulfillment

Temperature-controlled packaging for all shipments. Cold-chain integrity maintained from warehouse to delivery.

Lot traceability

Every shipment includes lot number and COA reference. Full batch history available on request.

FAQ

Sourcing questions we get asked

Do you manufacture your own compounds?

No. We are a specialty distributor, not a manufacturer. We source from established GMP-compliant synthesis facilities and apply our own independent quality verification layer before making compounds available.

Are your suppliers based in the United States?

We source from both domestic and international manufacturers. All suppliers, regardless of location, must meet our GMP compliance requirements and pass our qualification process. International suppliers are subject to the same independent testing requirements as domestic ones.

How do you handle supply chain disruptions?

For compounds where supply continuity is critical, we maintain qualified backup suppliers and strategic inventory reserves. When a primary supplier experiences quality or availability issues, we can transition to an alternate source without interrupting availability.

Can I see the synthesis documentation for a compound?

We can provide batch records and synthesis documentation upon request for qualified customers. Contact us with your order information and the specific documentation you need.

Sourcing transparency is part of the product.

We publish our testing standards, explain our sourcing criteria, and make COAs available for every compound. If you have questions about where a specific product comes from or how it was tested, ask us.
